• Playdough or Plasticine

• Learn to spell name/s
• Mixing colours
• Contructing "anything" - imagination is the only limitation
• Stamping

Pavement Chalk

Materials

• Chalk. I recommend: Crayola Sidewalk Chalk
• Driveway, footpath etc.

Play

• Draw pictures on pavement, driveway, brick wall, paper, cardboard etc. The list is endless.
• Wash off with hose.

Coloured Rice (Scented)

Materials

• Rice
• Food Colouring
• Flavour Essense (optional)
• White Vinegar
• Zip Lock Bags (large)

Instructions

• Add 1 cup of rice to zip lock bag.
• Add a few drops of food colouring.
• Add 1-2 drops of flavour essense (optional).
• Add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.
• Close bag and shake until mixed.
• Spread coloured rice on tray to air dry.
• Store in zip lock bags or air tight containers.



Play

• Use rice with sand toys (funnels).
• Layer rice in clear plastic cups.
• Use clear bottles or cups to create homemade maracas.
